A boy, about 6 to 8 years old, died today (05/21/2012) in Skokie, IL. It was all due to careless driving. A driver was trying to get on Main St. and did not notice an oncoming car resulting in a chain-reaction accident. The driver hit the oncoming car which hit another car into the little boy. And now… a poor family has lost their little one…
Please, be careful when you drive. I’m just hoping that this post makes some of you guys more aware when you drive, because you never know what your careless actions can do.
Looking left and right before getting on or crossing a street also applies when driving.
In 2007 I also got struck by a careless driver in a SUV but I got lucky with only one broken leg. This little boy lost his life. Please pray for him and his family.
